March feels like such a season of change, but change with optimism. Green is of course associated with the month for the St. Patricks day holiday, but I think this year in particular it symbolizes the month for so much more. Deep pine and emerald shades contrasted with bright yellows and oranges and pinks set the mood for the bringing of spring and the contrast of darker natural tones with the brightness of warm tones! You'll find these tones just above everywhere and even combined, for march they make the perfect pop of color for any outfit or accessory. This board symbolizes a mood of care-freeness, including icons like Jane Birkin, Marilyn and Bridgette Bardot, all symbols of glamour, travel, and care-free attitudes. These icons have been captured in moments of effervescence, a perfect way to portray the mood heading in to spring this March. While it is said this month will "go in like lion and out like a lamb" I see it more as an opportunity to go in with the boldness and strength we see happening in women right now, and leave with the feeling of light, contentment, and an effervescent mood. The season of travel, sunshine, and blooming is ahead and March is just the beginning!

February: know as the month of love- aka as a month filled with hearts, every shade of pink, and romantic photos. For me, February's mood is all about romanticism through the classics- looking at iconic women in fashion, the ones who have maintained an allure throughout the decades. Bridget Bardot is iconic for an effortlessly sexy look, with a classic cat eyed and tousled hair - definitely a look to channel for February. Pink for February is not shocking, but the rose quartz shade makes it a bit more interesting than usual. I'm loving its contrast with classic red and a periwinkle shade of blue, to remind me of a late winter sunset. With the supermoon in full effect its only fitting to pull inspo from the sky, the colors of sunsets and the stars and moon have been symbols of romanticism throughout time and are perfect muses for this season. February might be associated with pink, and hearts, and flowers, but it doesnt have to be cheesy if you look at it from a new angle. February's mood is all about taking classic symbols of romanticism and allure and making them new and your own!
