Dress For Brunch Success

Give a bunch of bloggers a theme, date, and time and we'll execute a brunch made in your Pinterest dreams! The Lexington blogger family decided it was time we get together and no way would be more fitting than at a mid-summers bohemian themed brunch! From the outfits to the food to the dreamy location and decor, everything about the brunch was a dream I only thought existed on Pinterest boards! What better place to rock my favorite summer staple, a boho wrap maxi dress! 

The moment I heard about the brunch I knew exactly what kind of "look" I was going for and it just so happens to be a popular trend for the summer. Boho has always been a theme in-line with my wardrobe and style and this summer it has grown in trend! An outdoor brunch is the perfect place to have fun with the trend and mix it with your own style for the perfect look.

As luck would have it, the jumpsuit I originally ordered didn't come in on time, BUT lucky for me Target had a seriously adorable selection of boho styled maxi's and jumpsuits to chose from and I found this wrap maxi dress for under $30 (even more perfect)! I love wrap dresses because they are so so flattering on waistlines and add a cute little slit to play with when walking as well as making it way more comfortable and airy to sit in. The wrap dress is such a classic staple for any woman's closet, but using it in a maxi style like this navy palm one or a mini dress like this cream floral one with prints and patterns gives it an updated and trendier feel!

The actual brunch could not have been more picture-perfect and delicious! We were so lucky to have been hosted by The Barn at Springhouse, one of the most beautiful venues I have ever been to, honestly! Kayla Weber's (@kaylaweberart) family owns the barn and she helped to put together the decor that made the place look like it jumped out of a Pinterest board. Everyone contributed with some delicious food and Molly of @missmollyvintage provided the bar set-ups. One bar for the delicious and fresh mimosas and the other for making flower crowns the perfect final touch for our boho 'fits! 

Our beautiful brunch would not have been complete without the help of the local businesses that provided us with some amazing products for our "swag bags" that I've shown below! Shop Local KY, AJ's Apothecary, Yarnbirds, Twenty Something, Blush Box Co., Morton James, Miss Molly Vintage, and Springhouse Gardens were ALL a part of helping to create our cute little gift bags!

Thanks to her creative eye, I could show-off and highlight my brunch outfit for you all in a perfect way.
